Forkliftcenter is a growing international organization specializing in the purchase, sale, and rental of forklifts and mobile port equipment ranging from 1 to 60 tons. We are located in the Western Port Area of Amsterdam, with branches in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and Central America.

Do you enjoy a challenge and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty? We are looking for a driven service technician for our service department in Amsterdam. Here, we work on forklifts and port equipment. At Forkliftcenter, we prioritize quality and strive to restore used machines to excellent condition, giving them a second life.

Job Description:

• Performing maintenance on our machines

• Diagnosing and resolving malfunctions

• Carrying out repair work

• Welding and straightening chassis

• Ensuring a pleasant and safe working environment together with your colleagues

Job Requirements:

• Completed MBO education or equivalent experience (preferred studies: mobile internal transport, automotive technology, motor vehicle technology, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery);

• Knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics and applied electronics;

• Relevant work experience and affinity with technology

• Willingness to follow training courses;

• Possession of a category B driver's license;

• Strong organizational and technical skills;

• Certification as an inspector is a plus.
